Terms and Conditions
1. Costs:
Memberships:
The cost of memberships will be charged according to the selected membership package.
Membership fees will be direct debited from your account on a fortnightly basis, as per the membership agreement.
Single Class and Class Packages:
Single class and class package fees are a one-off cost.
These can be purchased multiple times as needed.
2. Class Bookings:
Booking Limits:
You can book classes according to the limits set by your membership or the passes available to you.
Please only book classes you are certain you can attend. This ensures that all members have fair access to class spots and helps maintain the efficiency of the studio schedule.
Booking More than 2 Classes per Day:
If you wish to book more than 2 classes in a single day, please discuss this with one of our instructors for your safety and wellbeing.

3. Payment Schedule (memberships only):
Membership payments will be taken fortnightly or as per the membership term at checkout.
Should a payment fail to process, a $10 fee will be applied to cover administrative costs. Please ensure that your payment details are up-to-date on the Momence app to avoid any disruptions.
5. Membership Cancellations:
There are no lock-in contract for our memberships, providing you with flexibility. However, we require a minimum of 14 days’ advance notice for cancellations. Please email info@lyfepialtes.com.au to process membership cancellations.
4. Class Cancellation Policy:
Class cancellations must be processed through the Momence online booking system to be valid.
If a class booking is not cancelled at least 6 hours before the class start time, your class pass will be forfeited. For unlimited members, a $10 late cancellation fee will apply from the second late cancellation each week.
5. Class Attendance:
Failure to attend a booked class without prior cancellation will incur a $15 dishonour fee. This fee ensures that class spots are available to other members and encourages responsible booking.
6. Medical Conditions:
It is imperative that you inform Lyfe Pilates of any current or previous medical conditions, including pregnancy, that could impact your participation in classes. This information is crucial for your safety and well-being.
7. Behaviour:
All members are expected to treat instructors and fellow clients with respect at all times. Disrespectful behaviour, including racism, misconduct, or any form of harassment, will not be tolerated and may result in termination of membership without refund.
8. Dress Code and Hygiene:
Socks must be worn during all classes and when using any machinery for hygiene and safety reasons. If you forget to bring socks, you can purchase a pair at the studio.
Maintaining good personal hygiene is essential for the comfort and safety of all participants.
9. Personal Belongings:
Lyfe Pilates is not responsible for any lost or stolen personal belongings. Please ensure that your valuables are stored securely.
10. Membership Non-Refundability:
All memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable between clients. This policy helps maintain fairness and consistency within our membership structure.
11. Membership Suspension:
Members have the option to suspend their membership for a maximum of 12 weeks per calendar year, starting from the day of membership activation.
Suspensions can be made in weekly increments, and memberships must be active and fully paid up to the date of the suspension request.
Suspension requests must be made via email at least 48 hours before the desired start of the suspension period.
12. Class Minimum Attendance:
Classes require a minimum of 3 participants to proceed. If a class does not meet this minimum, we reserve the right to cancel it. Affected members will be contacted by phone or email at least 2 hours before the class start time and will receive a credit for the cancelled session.
13. Safety Restrictions:
For safety reasons, owners and/or instructors reserve the right to restrict or prohibit clients from participating in certain class types or activities at the owners/ instructors discretion.
14. Membership Price Increase:
Membership prices may be subject to increase. Any changes to pricing will be communicated to members in writing at least 4 weeks prior to implementation.
These policies are in place to ensure a positive and safe experience for all members.
